*Positive Living BC is pleased to welcome Victor Elkins as our new
Executive Director*
Victor is no stranger to the Society. His working relationship with us is
extensive and started over 20 years ago. From the AIDS Walk to AccolAIDS;
from the Red Ribbon Breakfast to the Red Ribbon Advisory Committee: Victor
has a remarkable history working to raise funds and awareness of HIV/AIDS
and to assist those living with the disease to live longer and healthier.
Victor comes to us with a strong, longstanding professional background in
health care, labour and community relations, and politics. Most recently,
Victor worked as the President of the Hospital Employees’ Union—and he was
integral to securing their title sponsorship of the 2018 and 2019 Vancouver
AIDS Walks.
Positive Living BC’s vision of a future where British Columbians living
with HIV are healthy and free to lead purposeful and actively engaged lives
in an accepting, inclusive community seems even more achievable now with
Victor at the helm of our operations.
Feel free to share your comments, questions, concerns and best wishes with
Victor at victore at positivelivingbc.org.
