I have had Dr. Montaner as my specialist since 1996 and I can assure you he
is not there to help one population.  There are far more people seeing him
from the West End and from the Downtown East Side because he is closer to
them.  Many women still go to Oak Tree Clinic.

In my own case, a long time ago I was kept for hours seeing many different
people at Oak Tree Clinic and it was very difficult to go there after my
child had died because of the memories.  In addition, in those days we
waited weeks or more for our blood test results.  This was because they
were sent to St. Paul's Hospital.  Once I saw Dr. Montaner at a conference,
I knew he was on the cutting edge of new medication and I changed
immediately. Once I changed I got my results right away or within a few
days.  Now, of course, we can see our results on e-health and that was not
the case before.

Anyone could go to the update from Oak Tree and give a talk.. I am sure
it's not exclusive to St. Paul's.
