Call for Abstracts - HIV Endgame 3: Breakthrough Initiatives

The OHTN conference* Endgame 3: Breakthrough Initiatives *will be an
opportunity for people involved in the HIV sector in Ontario to explore and

OHESI Report: HIV Testing in Ontario

HIV testing in Ontario has increased 19% over the last three years after
having been relatively stable for the past decade. That's one of the key
messages of a new OHESI repor
<http://ontariohivtreatmentnetwork.cmail20.com/t/i-l-bihlkid-fidejrkh-i/>t
on HIV testing in Ontario from 2007 to 2016. The increase in testing likely
reflects the success of testing campaigns and other testing promotion
efforts in recent years, as well as improved availability of testing, and
the implementation of Ontario HIV Testing Frequency Guidelines
<http://ontariohivtreatmentnetwork.cmail20.com/t/i-l-bihlkid-fidejrkh-d/>
created
in 2012. The newly released report also allows the reader to see trends
in HIV testing rates by age, sex, exposure category and geography as well
as the number of positive tests in each category. While 95% of HIV tests in
Ontario are done using the person’s name, the report also
includes information about anonymous testing and coded testing outcomes. See
