[Viva] Friends For Life - house has reopened recently!

Many years ago when I was resident in Vancouver's English Bay. I had
membership in Friends For Life (and volunteered in their kitchen now and
then too).  Once I moved away, naturally, availing myself of their
generous  service and support was not feasible.  However, I still stopped
to visit whenever I happened to be in the city, especially for
medical/hospital treks.   Does anyone know if I need to be resident in the
city to become a member again now that I live on Vancouver Island?
