*HIV** in My Day: Reflecting Back, Looking Forward *is an oral history
project that hopes to document the beginning of the HIV epidemic (1980s) in
Victoria and Vancouver Island’s history by having those with lived
experience and their caregivers recount their experiences.

We are an inter-generational community-based research team and are holding
this event as community information and discussion session about our
proposed oral history research project. At this event, we will discuss how
our project came to be and what we hope to achieve.

We will invite the audience to ask questions and provide feedback. *Attendance
is free*. If you, or someone you know, would be interested in this
important project, please attend!
