Community-based Harm Reduction Funds
Letters of Intent for the Public Health Agency of Canada's Harm Reduction
Fund (HRF) are now being invited. The new Harm Reduction Fund is investing
$30 million over five years (2017-2022) to support projects across Canada
that will help reduce HIV and hepatitis C among people who share injection
and inhalation drug use equipment. The Harm Reduction Fund supports
front-line community-based projects. Interested organizations can

Volunteer at Pride with the Sex Now Survey
The Sex Now Survey aims to better understand gay men's health and needs in
Canada in order to create better programs and services. The research team
will be at Toronto Pride this year, and they are looking for volunteers to
help distribute surveys to guys about their health needs and to collect
dried blood samples. Want to be part of this effort to improve gay men's

Nutrition and HIV
Do people living with HIV have special dietary needs? A new OHTN rapid
response reviews the evidence, which shows that nutrition is an important
component of care for people living with HIV. Even people without any
symptoms of illness have greater energy requirements compared to the

Call for Abstracts - HIV Endgame 3: Breakthrough Initiatives
The OHTN conference* Endgame 3: Breakthrough Initiatives *will be an
opportunity for people involved in the HIV sector in Ontario to explore and
discuss innovations in HIV care and support. The conference will take place
in Toronto on Dec 6-7, 2018.

This newly developed framework sets out a roadmap for collaborative action
to reduce the impact of STBBI in Canada and to contribute to global efforts
to end AIDS, viral hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections as major
public health concerns. The Public Health Agency of Canada is seeking
input from people living with HIV and Hepatitis C about its implementation. See

The Ontario AIDS Network AGM will be held *September 7-8, 2018*. Please
note the change of date.
Endgame 3: Breakthrough Initiatives
SAVE THE DATE: *December 6 & 7, 2018* at the InterContinental Hotel,
Toronto. HIV Endgame 3 will combine structured CME-credit plenary and
educational sessions, with discussions of innovations in care and support.
The program will focus on evidence-based interventions and approaches to
care that build on Ontario's strengths.
OHTN PositionsCoordinator, Toronto Linkage to Care Program
The Linkage to Care Coordinator will be hired by the OHTN and work closely
with members of Toronto Public Health to provide support and referrals to
individuals newly diagnosed with HIV at Toronto emergency rooms and
immigration clinics. The Linkage to Care Coordinator will engage in brief,
solution-focused case management to individuals diagnosed at priority sites
across Toronto. This is an 18-month contract with possibility of extension.

Director, Collective Impact
The Director of Collective Impact, reporting to the Executive Director,
will work collaboratively with the Directors of Data Impact and Research
Impact to prioritize, promote, and support the use of data and research
evidence that can be used to drive change. The Director oversees three
multi-disciplinary areas: testing and clinical care initiatives, ASO and
community initiatives, and policy and system initiatives. The Director also
interacts with all key areas of the organization to ensure a truly

The Division of Infectious Diseases at St. Michael's Hospital is looking
for a Research Coordinator to provide project management and support on
three projects, including (1) a multicentre (Toronto and Ottawa) clinical
trial of different strategies for delivering HIV post-exposure prophylaxis
(PEP), which will initiate recruitment in mid-2018; (2) a new, CIHR-funded
implementation science research initiative aimed at optimizing the uptake
of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among at-risk gay, bisexual and
other men who have sex with men; and (3) a pilot, multicentre clinical
