Hi Margarite, As discussed today at our meeting on Women’s programming at Viva and Positive Living BC,  I believe that the future of women’s programming is dependent on two huge factors – access to funding and providing strong women’s leadership. To that end I hope that you would encourage the women of Viva to seriously consider  putting their name forward to the Board of Directors at Positive Living BC – we could really use more women in leadership roles at the society. I will personally respond to any inquiries and shepherd any interested women through the process so feel free to share this email (neils at positivelivingbc.org) and my personal cell number 236-999-1513. Unfortunately, the deadline for applications is today at 5PM but if anyone has a keen interest please ask them to contact me immediately to discuss a possible application.
