[Viva] Are You Attending AIDS 2018?

Sorry to have confused anyone. I was responding to a request from Margarite about wanting updates from the International AIDS Conference. I will be attending and sending back notes for sure! 

Re - Body mapping. It started in Southern Africa and is a wonderful way that women (and men) can tell their life stories through using images and colours as well as slogans and key words, but it is NOT talk therapy! Val Nicholson and I, Peggy Frank, have had the pleasure of working with two groups of women in BC on a research project that gets at some of the impact of the climinalization of HIV. The research project is called WATCH. We are thrilled to be taking several body maps to the Netherlands, but not thrilled about Canada’s history of criminalization, or ignoring the needs of HIV positive women nationally.
