Subject: People on the Move: Key to Ending AIDS - Survey for
migrants/mobile populations
Dear colleagues,
The NGO Delegation to the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB)
presents a report to the PCB every year. In December 2018, we will present
a report on 'people on the move'. Our focus is to document vulnerabilities
to HIV and other co-infections of migrants or people on the move; identify
barriers to access to services and information; and, propose
recommendations for the PCB to address these barriers and challenges. Once
the report is presented, it will be published on the UNAIDS and NGO
Delegation websites and translated into all six official UN languages.
We are reaching out to various types of migrants and mobile populations or
people on the move, in each region all over the world to better understand
and document the current situation and response. We define migrants and
mobile populations as "any person who is moving or has moved across an
international border or within a State away from his/her habitual place of
residence, regardless of (1) the person's legal status; (2) whether the
movement is voluntary or involuntary; (3) what the causes for the movement
are; or (4) what the length of the stay is."

If you are a migrant or a person on the move, please take the time to
answer the *survey <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7RYS8TV>*. Otherwise,
please forward this email to your networks that may be able to reach out to
migrants or persons on the move.
*The survey will be closed on Tuesday, August 7, COB Geneva*.
Thank you very much.
