[Viva] grief and loss / positive gathering

tansi/hello peoples,

strange time of year.
it was 7 years ago almost to the day my mother passed away from a massive
heart attack up on treaty 6 territory. our family is from treaty 1,
originally..

2 weeks ago my brother passed away from a heart attack up on treaty 6.
spent a week sorting through his life.
biggest challenge in a longtime for me.
thankfully my partner had a chance to come with me and support me and my
family through this time.

my brother rob was 55.

due to stress, grief and loss, i had to cancel the decolonize /
anti-oppression-intersectionality workshop for the 2018 positive gathering.
also was not too thrilled with the lack of focus on the more marginalized
positive people like myself. 2 spirited, low income, non cisgender and so
on.
