Jambo my friends!

It is truly inspiring to be sending you this first email from Kenya. I have
been placed in Kitengala at a Women and children's education center. The
people are truly amazing! I taught my first class on Friday, and with the
assistance of my fellow volunteer was able to talk about HIV and how
crucial support is because of the stigma. They all were very interested and
were very surprised that "Muzungo" get HIV as well. (White people). I came
back to Nairobi for the weekend to get supplies and connect with fellow
volunteers.

I return to Kitengala this afternoon. Attached are a few pictures of the
women and children, I hope you will enjoy. I have limited internet access
where I am staying but am delighted to hear from you if you like.
