[Viva] stigma video

I always tell the pharmacist (but then I get my HIV meds delivered to the
store anyway) because I want to know if there are counter-indications with
prescriptions. I often double check with Carlo at Oaktree anyway, he's the
best!

I kept my HIV status secret, except with close friends and family, when my
children where young.

When I came 'out' I was surprised at what a non issue it was for most
people. I expected bigger reactions.
Interestingly the main people who have had trouble with it are two of my
siblings, who no longer speak to me.

On the other side I've met and made some really good and deep relationships
since sharing my status with people.
I respect whatever people choose for themselves, it's a personal decision
and everyone has different circumstances.

Hope that helps Denise,
ox
Margarite
