Jambo everyone,
Just a quick note from Kitengala.  I am thrilled to say with the generous assistance of my extraordinary daughters, Liza and Jamie, I have been able to purchase a new wheelchair for Elijah! Elijah was completely overwhelmed and grateful, as was his mother. As I mentioned previously, Elijah suffers from Brittle Bone Disease, his Mother is HIV+, and his father has passed. On Monday the wheelchair was transported from Nairobi to Kitengala and yesterday I brought it with me to school.
Below are pics of his old wheelchair, his new wheelchair and the smile on his face in the third picture.
Without the financial support, love and unconditional faith in my abilities to volunteer and contribute, none of this would have been possible. I have the most amazing daughters in the world. This donation was made in their name. Nakupenda Bella's._______________________________________________
