[Viva] changes ....

Hi gals,
This isn't an easy thing to do ...
Changes are coming for me.  I have given Jane my notice and won't be
facilitating the Oaktree or Vancouver Women's Health Collective peer
support groups anymore. I will be at the May groups (this week) and
possibly June to support a transition while they find someone to take my
position.

This was a hard decision for me because I care very much about the
importance of what happens when we come together to share and support each
other. However, I've been doing this every month now for 5 years and I am
finding the travel to and from Vancouver every month exhausting (it is *at
least* 10 hours each trip!). I hope you understand,

I'm honoured that you've all let me into your lives and trusted me. I have
learned so much about strength, resiliency and compassion from each of you.
I'm glad to be part of this beautiful strong community of poz women and I
feel like I have so many friends now that I didn't have when I started
these groups.

I'm sure they will find someone good to take over and the groups will
continue.
Also I'll still be getting my healthcare at oaktree so I'll look forward to
attending whenever I can coordinate my appointments with the groups.

I also want to express my appreciation to OTC for taking on this important
piece of holistic health care. I'm proud to have played a role in it's
development.

P.S. This does not change my involvement with ViVA. I will remain on the
Standing Committee and hope to see a lot of you through that.
