This group is co-facilitated by an Elder and the Aboriginal counselors at
DCHC – it is amazingly powerful and a very safe venue for Aboriginal people
(only) to start exploring their trauma.  Participants need to be clear
headed to attend, but do not need to be abstinent in their lifestyle.

Transforming Trauma

An intergenerational, historical, culturally-relevant group for processing
trauma.
Our Elder will share cultural teachings and lead ceremonies to support
recovery from trauma.
Learn to cope with triggers and flashbacks.
Learn how past trauma influences current behavior and well-being.

For Aboriginal Adults

10 weeks from January 20th to March 24th
Tuesdays from 1:30 to 4:30 pm
