What pisses me off, is i spoke up at an alcohol & drug treatment centre, in
alberta recently...and this young girl was in shock of my age,and made this
remark, "wow, HIV is doing you good"! gsus fawk! Wow, thanks for the
compliment! She thought i was not overweight bc of my HIV. I have worked
out for ever... i was once 210 lbs before i gave birth to my gift of life,
Michaela who weighed 8lbs 11 ounces. I am in recovery, alchol and drug free
over 13 yrs...and have been living with HIV coming up on 3 yrs in may...

Others, ignorance of my diagnosis, i came out, i was speaking at the school
on my reserve back home, and people in my community were staring. Kids
running home and telling their families. Just recently i was back home on
my reserve, and i was missing my weights. So i would go running for the
cardio. Thing is, i always prior to my HIV would work out, and people would
think it was because of my HIV, " I'm skinny'! ugh! I work out to be
strong! In bc, i'm healthy looking, up north, i'm skinny! lol

Rant done. lol
