Positive Living BC through the Support Department is proud to offer:

Unique Workshops-Older Voices

September 29-October 1st 2014.

This is an opportunity for you to both attend a series of self-selected
workshops as well as

teach a class to other HIV+ seniors on a subject of your choice. No prior
teaching experience is

necessary. Being passionate and knowledgeable about your subject is what
you bring to your 45

minute presentation. Classes at the University will range in size from 5 to
24 participants.

A “How to Facilitate an Effective Workshop” session will be held beforehand
to provide more

information, offer tips and share ideas to support your presentation
concept.

All Participants are Presenters

Through presentations and workshops offered in a safe and light-hearted
environment, the

University is designed to provide opportunities for growth and learning for
HIV+ seniors in BC.

This project seeks to create a sense of community, reduce isolation,
enhance self-esteem and

promote communication. Attendees will be of different genders, sexual
orientations, levels of

education, backgrounds and from a rural or urban home base.
