were established in 2002 by the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and Human
Rights Watch.****

Les Prix de l'Action contre le VIH/sida et pour les droits humains ont étés
initiés en 2002 par le Réseau juridique canadien VIH/sida et Human Rights
Watch.

*Les Prix ont pour but de mettre en relief des contributions
exceptionnelles qui réduisent la vulnérabilité au VIH/sida et qui protègent
les droits et la dignité des personnes séropositives et autrement affectées
par le VIH/sida.*

Un prix canadien et un prix international seront présentés annuellement à
un récipiendaire canadien et un récipiendaire international.

Les prix seront décernés lors d'un événement pour souligner la Journée
mondiale du sida de 2013, à Toronto (une annonce de date sera disséminée
sous peu).* La période de mise en candidature se termine le vendredi 2 août
2013, à 17 h 00 (heure de l'Est).*
