The Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) is searching for a
skilled leader and manager to lead its organization in the
implementation of an exciting and ambitious strategic plan.

GNP+ is a not-for-profit global network representing people living
with HIV (PLHIV) at the global level. Its mission is to improve the
quality of life of PLHIV by advocating for their increased access to
essential services and their increased integration into community
life. GNP+ believe that the greater and more meaningful involvement of
PLHIV is essential to achieving these goals. For additional details on

Reporting to the Board of Directors and managing a budget of over
€2M /year, the ED is the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible
for implementing the strategic plan; executing board decisions and
providing leadership and management to achieve GNP+’s mission. The
ED ensures that there is strict overall administrative coordination,
financial management and integrated systems for effective and
efficient implementation and evaluation of programmes, including an
exciting advocacy agenda.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader, who has demonstrated
success as a manager of operations, programs, individuals and teams.
This individual will have excellent planning and coordination skills
to ensure a flexible, yet results-driven approach. GNP+'s work
involves a diverse group of stakeholders and therefore this individual
must be a superior communicator, report writer and public presenter,
as well as a diplomatic negotiator and consensus-builder. This
individual will be respected as an inclusive and empathetic leader who
will bring a strong analytical, problem solving and financial
management acumen to the position.

Candidates must have a demonstrated record of achievement, including
10 years of experience with PLHIV networks, 5 of which should be in a
senior leadership, management and coordination role.

This position is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and involves
frequent international economy class travel between different time
zones, resulting in possible jetlag. A competitive salary and benefits
