Live this topic and the lists! Peggy you reminded me of one of my journaling exercises:
At the end of the day, write:
3 things you appreciate about yourself for that day
3 things you are grateful for.
3 things you are looking forward to.
When I'm having a hard day it can be challenging but an excellent way to shift your thoughts to the positive!
Wishing a healthy & balanced 2013 to you all.
Kath

>> Hello Wendy,
>>
>> Thank you so much for your input ... it is good to hear what works for you ... I am not one for swimming as I nearly drowned as a young child but I have been thinking of late I should give it another try as a friend also feels as you do! He has been trying to convince his wife and me to try water aerobics to get us into the pool.

>> Hi Romari. I hope I can help a bit. I am into swimming. I go almost everyday. It seems like most of my best feeling days are the ones I start by going to the pool. It feels so go to really streach out my muscles and get my blood pumping. I also do things like sometimes just to go grocery shopping or to the pharmacy I will put on something half decent and maybe makeup. Not for anybody but myself. Other times a night of jammies and too much ice cream is allright too. Oh about swimming, it is the perfect excersize for anyone with joint pain or other muscle or joint pain, its fun too. Journaling is good too. Not just writing, but reading past entries too, see what was going n with yourself weeks or even months before. I hope some of these might have helped, if I think of anything good I will send it to you. Hugs. Wendy.

>> I am looking for assistance in writing an article for Girl Talk. I am already past my deadline for the article I was scheduled to write and realize I need to switch gears now in order to write an article in time for the next issue. The original article is going to require much more time to complete.
>>
>> Recognizing that I have taken on more than I can handle at the moment, it is only fitting that I am now thinking to write an article on self care with respect to women. As women, we often put ourselves last when it comes to self care, only after tending to the needs of our significant other, our children, parents, friends etc. etc. I am recognizing these traits in myself more these days and thankfully, recognizing when I need to stop myself from carrying on to the point of crashing!

>> As time is of the essence, I would appreciate a few moments of your time over the weekend (as long as it does not take away from your own self care) :)
