[Viva] Crown now not seeking dangerous offender.. sentencing September 20

This is total conjecture on my part.. it seems that this woman may have
been a prostitute. She moved to Ontario with no connections, "her mother
supported her with money", the men just happened to feel like they should
give her $20 after sex and they say she was walking at Border Forces Base
with a thong on. Then the armed forces man said she was "stalking" him for
sex and he had it a few times with her!!! Of course that would take them
off the hook for procuring sex and her off the hook for being a
prostitute. They may even have paid her not to use a condom.
This points to two terrible things happening in this country.. women are
going underground to trade sex and face every kind of physical harm, as
well as charges like this and women obviously have no say in condom use
because they would have to tell a client they have HIV and therefore lose
any money they have coming in or be arrested.
I think if this is the case, she would have had a very hard time telling
her side of the story.
It's a case for legalizing prostitution and having it as a health care
issue and have men sign waivers and also shows women do not have control of
the condom issue.
I hope she will be dealt with very lightly but I fear not. The Canadian
HIV/AIDS Legal Network are closely involved and are trying to help her. I
very much hope that science will say decisively that women cannot pass HIV
on when they are undetectable.
Sorry for the rant!
