Thanks Wendy!  In addition, and it's important to know, the NDP are 100%
behind this Bill too.  The Conservatives are being non-committal.  If you
ask the MP in your riding, it he/she is Conservative, they will likely tell
you they have not made up their mind.  I asked Ron Cannan and he eventually
met with Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and it sounded promising and so I
followed up with a letter congratulating him on his choice and telling him
I would be letting everyone I know in Kelowna that he decided to vote yes!
 This is a way of keeping up the pressure.  The Vernon MP Colin Mayes will
not return calls or emails and he voted no last time.  I will be putting a
plea into as many people as I can in Vernon to call him.

Everyone should have access to any life saving medication.  Patents are
extended by combining medications and what was a 10 - 20 year patent
becomes a 40 year patent.. all so that pharmas can make more money and
people in poor nations are not allowed to save their families or
themselves... it is really, really horrific.
