which your involvement will be critical. In view of the forthcoming
International AIDS Conference, and giving continuity to the work which we
began at the end of last year to request an interview with President Obama.*

The strategy is that each region will contact through mail boxes and/or
social networks Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden
( of whom we are sending you the contact details) requesting an interview
with the Global Chair Patricia Perez, accompanied by other women leaders of
the network. Our goal is to arrange an interview with President Obama, his
wife, or the Vice President Biden or Madam H. Clinton, before the
Conference. If we have any of these meetings, it would mean a great
visibility to ICW and its members and the political impact, among other
positive results. ****

For example, you can send President Obama the message "President Obama,
ICW Global turns 20 years facing AIDS, WE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOU OUR
CELEBRATION in Washington DC in July 2012" to his email address. On the
following Tuesday you could send another message. You will find more
information concerning the campaign above.****

We suggest you send it between 2pm and 6pm local time of your country. (The
idea is that we can focus the shipments of your country and your region, to
have more impact when they arrive the recipients). ****

Also we ask that you invite your contacts to join this campaign, so we will
be thousands by asking for an interview with Obama, Clinton and Biden, to
meet Patricia and other leaders of the network. ****

discrimination. Women and girls suffer disproportionately violence in peace
