Hi All, I just want to make a correction. Not all the students taking the course are HIV positive; they are either infected or affected.

Hi Denise,Yes, important points you raise! This link is to SFU with more info on the course: http://www.sfu.ca/community/literacylives.html plus, here’s an article from the recent PWN newsletter. Look for the article on page 7,8 titled “Aha Moments...” All students in the course are HIV positive and working on different community building projects with support from a team of instructors. http://pwn.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/files/Newsletters_JUNE%202008_on/2012%20JanFebMar%20FINAL%20web.pdf From: viva-bounces at lists.resist.ca [mailto:viva-bounces at lists.resist.ca] On Behalf Of Denise Becker

Do they understand the issues surrounding kids and HIV (i.e. they may not even know they have it themselves?) I am guessing Youthco might have something to do with it. Thanks always for sharing!
