Dear members, 

 

The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) trains nurses all over BC to
provide HIV testing and care. The BCCDC is in the process of making a video
for use in these trainings and also for use in an online course, so it will
be viewed by the public. Daphne Spencer, who is the coordinator of this
project, is looking for a couple of women who would be willing to appear in
the video to talk about their experiences being tested for HIV. She is
looking for folks who were diagnosed after 1996- after the changes that
antiretrovirals brought in. 

 

The filming will about an hour and a half, and will be scheduled in the week
between January 31- February 7. There will be an honorarium available, but
we don't know how much. If you are interested in being part of this video,
