 AIDS Vancouver's Resource Centre in partnership with the Asian Outreach Project (PAD & Asian Outreach DTES) will be hosting a small introduction to the Lunar New Year and to our services for the Asian community.The event will be next week, JAN 26 (THURSDAY) .from 2-4 pm, at 1107 Seymour Street, in the Resource Centre which is open to ALL.
Keeping it simple, we hope to provide information about the lunar new year and what it is all about; information about the Asian Outreach Project and what it does; and information about the Positive Asian Dinner.We will be giving out red envelopes with information and contacts for the project.There will be food (chow mein), tea/coffee and candies for everyone.People can find out what sign they are in Chinese astrology, and get some information about what that animal represents.
