Today the Supreme Court of Canada will hear landmark appeals in two cases
of HIV non-disclosure — *R. v. Mabior* and *R. v. D.C.* — and the Canadian
HIV/AIDS Legal Network will be there as part of a coalition intervening
before the Court.****

This important issue is also commanding attention in the national media
conversation, including in two opinion pieces by Legal Network staff —
Executive Director **Richard Elliott** in the *Globe and Mail* (
http://bit.ly/zOqCtA), and Policy Analyst Cécile Kazatchkine (jointly with
COCQ-sida’s Stéphanie Claivaz-Loranger) in *Le Devoir* (http://bit.ly/znk1w7).
These come on the heels of the *Vancouver Sun*’s supportive editorial from
February 6 (http://bit.ly/zu0pnk). We encourage you to read these articles
