I have done what Wendy suggested when I went to Europe years ago and also to Mexico works like a hot dang to put it in different labelled bottles with your name on it. Hola have a great time.

not sure of the border crossing deal.
certainly mixing can be problematic.
proving to the border people what medications/drugs/pills one has is
important, but it is also random.
people i know have mixed them up.
i have, but then that was a domestic flight.
really tho.......if it is labeled - they know what they are and should not
ask questions - especially if your name is on it.
