[Viva] VOLUNTEER needed for Positive Gathering

Hi ViVA women,
This is a request from Stephen at Positive Living Society. It would be
GREAT if one (or more) of you would volunteer to represent ViVA on the
Positive Gathering committee.
The email from Stephen included attachments but was too big to forward on
to the listserv so if you are interested please let me know and I can send
you the additional information.

The 2011 Positive Gathering held December 2-4, 2011 was successful in
drawing over 200 HIV+ participants from across British Columbia.   More
than 30 workshops were offered over the three day event, with two keynote
speakers presenting messages which underscored our theme of “Empowerment”.**

On behalf of Positive Living BC, I am writing to invite you to join us in
planning the 2013 event.  The 2013 dates are March 22-24, 2013.  We believe
that this community-based event planned by representatives from agencies
and peer support groups serving HIV + persons from all corners of the
province has achieved the success it has because of the voices at the
planning table.  Thank you for your commitment and support.****

We do hope that your organization will participate in this endeavour. The
Positive Gathering Planning Committee meets monthly on the 3rd Monday at
3:00pm at Positive Living BC.  Attached are an Agenda and other relevant
documents.****

Our first 2013 planning meeting is scheduled for 3:00pm Monday  August 20,
2012 in the Positive Living BC Boardroom (or by teleconference for our out
of town participants). ****
