Hi Margarite,
Thanks so much for your message.
Yes, on May 3-6th (Thursday-Sunday) from 10am-6pm at SFU harbour centre,
there is a women's workshop called "Anatomy of Adherence" happening.
Anatomy of Adherence was initially a research study but turned into women's
workshop. We have Tricia Smith coming from Ontario to lead the workshop as
well as Treena Orchard and Alexis Palmer helping out (from the BC CfE). We
have 5 women confirmed and are opening the invitation to a few more women
who may be interested in joining. The group participating are all positive
women who have a history or current relationship with illicit substances.
The body mapping workshop will be an art-based approach to discussing the
barriers and obstacles facing women living with HIV who have substance use
as a part of their life. The workshop is over 4 days and we are providing
honorariums to women that would like to attend. We are also providing hot
lunch and beverages.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
All the best,
Kate

Hi Kate,
Dr. Neora Pick sent me a request to forward something about an upcoming
body mapping workshop to ViVA (an online community of positive women).
Would you please send me the information including who is facilitating
this? I understand that body mapping is usually co-facilitated by an HIV
positive woman.
Thanks so much,
Margarite
