Here's an interesting  (and paid!)opportunity with a fantastic theatre group
- I believe the project  would benefit greatly by having some openly HIV
positive women involved!   It's really incredible that they have funding to
pay people for this...

Here is an amazing opportunity to help instigate social change in your
community and make money doing it!

 

Headlines Theatres is looking for Community Workshop Participants and Cast
Members to be in the physical theatre project Us and Them. You don't need
acting or dancing experience, just your lived experience.

Have you ever found yourself 'on the outside' in terms of identity? Have you
ever experienced a deep division between 'yourself' and 'them'? Have you
ever been struck by the violence of 'absolute truth'? Do you understand how
the personal becomes political?

Deadline for applications is June 15, 2011.
Community Workshop Dates: Aug 29 - Sept 3, 2011 (Participant are paid $600
for the week)
Cast Member Commitment: Aug 29 - Nov 12, 2011 (Cast Members are paid
$650/week)
