[Viva] Article submissions for Positive Living Magazine

Good morning!
Shelly here...

Just wanted to follow up with details re: submission for article and copy
deadlines.

The final copy deadline for the Sept./Oct issue is July 4th. In the interest
of ensuring copy deadlines are met we suggest the 1st draft deadline for
proof to VIVA should be the  24th of June.  Article can be 2 - 3 pages ,
approx. 1750 words max. Less if the subject does not warrant.

If anyone is interested, and would like to suggest their ideas please email
asap. Again, the subject matter can be anything related to HIV Positive
womens issues. Ultimately the Editorial Board is there to encourage and
support writers, not to judge or approve. They have the overall vision and
mandate of the organization and publication to consider all submissions and
ensure they have not been recently covered or simply would suit a future
issue on content. They want to hear from us, and VIVA has many voices to be
heard. This is an ongoing column for VIVA and the more writers the better!

It was an amazing process for me to write my first article in this months
issue - Looking back, Moving Forward.  can be viewed on line if you did not
receive a copy as a member of Positive Living in the mail.
www.positivelivingbc.org  (cover story) Thanks to Margarite and Aly I felt
 completely supported to write, get their feed back and excellent
editting/proofing skills to boot. It was a win win situation and a great
opportunity to speak with some of the most amazing women I have ever met.
