[Viva] Editorial Board Meeting, Writing for Girltalk

Hey Veronica,
Article length can vary from a one page to a three page feature. The subject
can be something that interests you in particular, or an issue facing HIV
women you feel strongly about, there are no real limitations on content,
however, as Denise pointed out in her email, it is ultimately necessary to
consider the readership and sometimes timing of the article subject (ie. the
subject may have been covered recently or similar articles written in recent
publications)

The suggested "theme" of the fall issue is education/back to school so any
topics related to that in general would be particularly strong. Let Denise
or myself know what you are thinking about, and we can go from there.

A couple of people have expressed interest which is fantastic! It may be
that we line up writers for the next two or three issues in advance, (for
the balance of the year even) which would also be great.

I will have more information Monday afternoon and send another email out
then. Thanks everyone for your response.

Anyone else feel a writers itch? More is better...

Shelly
