Alright folks, I realize that not all of you live in Vancouver but many of
you know people who do. I am asking that you take the time to help rally the
troops against the proposed upcoming mega casino. This is a fight that can
be won and needs to be. The BC gaming commission has broken virtually every
promise it has made and continues to make substantial cuts to arts and
culture as well as many of the needed charities... here is just one
example... BC Persons With AIDS Society got the news yesterday that they
were CUT $50,000 from their usual gaming grant. They were one of the first
charities to come out opposing the casino--largely out of solidarity with
the arts. Coincidence that they lost 25% of their gaming grant? We want to
rain hellfire down on the Liberals for this. Need you to spread the word
that Coleman is doing his bullying best to shut troublesome charities up. On
Monday March 7th at 6:45 pm there will be a RALLY FOR VANCOUVER at City
Hall. We CAN put an end to this but we need the numbers to show them that we
are no longer willing to sit by while they take OUR city away from us a
