[Viva] Resignation

I am writing to to let you know that this afternoon I told the Positive
Living BC Board that I will not be seeking another term of two years on the
Board.  The main reason for this is that I want to become more involved with
the Canadian Legal Network and help them in the Access to Affordable
Medicine Campaign and issues such as criminalizations and sex trade workers,
Insite, etc.  I will still be a member of the committee of Positive Living
Magazine but will not be on the running list at the August AGM.  Naturally,
I will communicate with all of you and will still pass on anything that
comes to me from the PLBC Board or anywhere else.

There will be a list of Board members sent to you who are seeking
re-election.  The person I want to point out to you is *Paul Goyan*, who is
running again and is on the Island.  Not only is he a rural guy but he has
always advocated for and shown respect for the positive woman's point of
view since joining the Board.  I realize this is not as good as being a
positive woman and would encourage eny of you to run too.  I am not sure who
else is running but I do like Paul.
