Dear JANES,****

Welcome to the new JANE members!****

After our successful first get together at a ****Commercial Drive**** café
for a light meal and good conversation, we moved ahead on your suggestion of
a Picnic at the Beach for the next event.****

** **

*Thursday, July 14th at 5:00 pm*, we are meeting on the Kits Beach walkway
in front of the Boat House Restaurant, located on Kits Beach at the very end
of ****Arbutus Street**** off of ****Cornwall**** in Kits, near the tennis
courts.  http://www.translink.ca/  Check with Google Maps if you need more
info.****

We will supply bottled water.  Please let me know if we are to expect you
and if you are arriving later than 5:00 so someone can direct you to where
we are set up. Send me an email or call 604.893.2259 to sign up.****

Join other JANES with your individual picnic baskets, blanket, sun screen
(hopefully) to hang out on the beach and enjoy each other’s company,
exchange information and check-in with friends and meet new friends.  ****

IN THE EVEN OF RAIN on Thursday, July 14th, there is a Rain Date set for the
same event on Thursday, July 21.  If that also gets rained out we will have
to wait until our August event, unless women want to write to each other and
come up with another indoor café plan.****

Tuesday, August 23rd we have complementary group admission to ****Vancouver*
* **Art** **Gallery**** and their fabulous collection including the popular
Surrealist Exhibition at 6:00 pm.  Those of us who wish to can meet
beforehand at 4:30 – 6:00 at the Gallery Café upstairs on their patio for a
refreshing drink or a light meal. More info on this closer to the date.****
