hi denise, i appreciate you exploring the general lack of response regarding running for the board of positive living bc.  i have several reasons...i am totally unsure of what is involved or how big a commitment it is, but i assume i am too busy working, and just far enough away (saltspring) for it to be inconvenient and stressful.  let me know if i am wrong!sincerely, katherine

I have not received any replies regarding running for the Board of Positive Living BC.  This interests me and I am not sure what to make of it.  Quite often in Board meetings, I tell the Board that they need to include women and reach out to them to run on the Board.  They have told me that they have in the past and there is no interest.  It is hard to push for women's retreats, women focussed articles in Positive Living magazine, and other things when I am the only one on the Board.

So, I need to understand where you all are coming from.  I have listed below some reasons that you might not be interested in joining the Board and would appreciate you either just typing a reply with an a, b, or e, etc.(you can choose more than one) or letting me know another reason.  Then I will have a good handle on the whole issue.
