[Viva] +WOMAN on +LIVING board of directors

Hi ViVA women,
I just received my notice about the Positive Living AGM in the mail. They
are calling for candidates for the upcoming board of directors. I would be
honoured to nominate any of you who would like to give it a try. It would be
very beneficial for ViVA, and for positive women in general, to have a few
positive women on the board of Positive Living BC.
Since Denise is leaving the board, ViVA needs someone to be a voice for us.
Positive Living has been welcoming of ViVA, we have had our only face to
face meetings the last three years at the Positive Gatherings*.
They have given us the Girl Talk space in the Positive Living magazine (see
the article by Doris Peltier in the May-June issue 72) and they have
generously provided access to teleconference for the ViVA working group.
Positive Living BC is an organization that, like ourselves, is member driven
and is truly implementing GIPA principles (greater involvement of people
with HIV/AIDS).

If you are interested write back to me. Nominations need to be in by July
20th.

*this year ViVA will have a satellite meeting the afternoon before the
opening night of the Positive Gathering November 25th......put it on your
calendars!!
