Talking points****
At the British HIV Association (BHIVA) conference last month, we
launched *Talking
points* <http://www.aidsmap.com/talking-points>, a tool designed to help
people with HIV talk to their doctors about HIV treatment.****
The first step is to complete a short questionnaire (you won't be asked for
your name) and *Talking points*
<http://www.aidsmap.com/talking-points>will then produce a checklist,
based on your answers, of points you may
want to talk to your doctor about. ****
The checklist can be saved as a PDF, printed or emailed, so you can use it
to prepare for your next doctor's appointment, or even take it with you to
show to your doctor.****

HIV vaccine trials in the UK****
The UK's Medical Research Council is currently promoting their website *
www.helpmakehistory.mrc.ac.uk* <http://www.helpmakehistory.mrc.ac.uk>,
which aims to inform and encourage people to register their interest in
taking part in clinical trials for HIV vaccines.****
There are several trials planned for next year and building up a network of
volunteers will help the trial recruitment be more efficient. They need
HIV-negative people who are based in the UK to enrol. ****
