[Viva] Minutes from ViVA meeting

Well done all. Thanks to all who were able to attend this meeting and welcome to all the new ViVA mambers. I also want to say glad to have ya...to all those who spoke up to volunteer thier time to helping ViVA keep growing and changing. The more participation we have from our membership the more diverse our ideas and lighter the work load for all concerned....so thanks. I hope you will find you involvement with ViVA, in whatever way and to whatever degree you chose to involve yourself, to be as rewarding as I have.

    I also want to send a great big THANK YOU to Shelly for taking minutes and getting them out to all of us. I also want to note that although you are having to step back from being a member of the Working Group, we are eternally gratefully to you for your willingness to continue on as secretary and take our minutes...a huge and absolutely necessary thing. 

So, I've read through the minutes and find they reflect the basics of what transpired. There are only a couple things I noticed so I've made note of them.
Here are the few corrections I noticed to the minutes, based on notes I took at our AGM meeting


Introductions:
Bullet 2 - Margarite stated that ViVA is one of the only but is the largest HIV+ Women driven organization in Canada. She did not say we were the only +women org. in canada 

ViVA Accomplishments past 18 months:
Bullet 3 - Creation of a mission statement and goals. Mission statement need to be reviewed and a "living" document.

Again, thanks all for your participation at our AGM and here on our listserv. We are what we are because of you/us.
