[Viva] Victoria +women connect

Hi Margarite,

We had a good get together Wed. night. We basically just introduced
ourselves to each other and told some of our own stories. There were seven
women all together. Shari told us about the work she is doing. We had
homemade goodies from a volunteer. I told the group that I didn't want to be
running the group and asked if they were comfortable sharing emails and
everyone was. I am hoping the group runs itself basically so if someone
would like to meet, anyone can put the idea out there. The PWA office is
pleased to make its space open to us when ever we need it and doesn't mind
providing snacks and/or beverages for the group whether we meet there or
not. I emailed the ladies yesterday to ask if they minded me sharing the
emails with other HIV+ women. Two woman have responded so far and my guess
is that everyone else is already on the ViVA list. Today, I sent out your
email address and toll free number to all the women that attended on Wed.
