Tolu:
Dr. Burdge was a wonderful, caring human being and each time I left his
clinic, he would put his hand on my shoulder and say "hang in there, OK?" -
and he meant it, it wasn't just something he said each time. I changed to
Dr. Montaner because he was getting all the findings and carrying out trials
so that I had the latest news right away. He seemed unapproachable at first
but I soon found he was, underneath the harsh exterior, a very, very caring
man who would fight for me and anyone else that came to see him.
He is so busy with conferences that I see Dr. Sylvia Guilllemi at St. Paul's
now. She is extremetly caring and very sweet, she always has a smile for
me. I don't know if that will help but she is there all summer too.
I think we are very lucky to have such caring specialists and I wish you
well. I am so sorry Dr. Burdge has retired but he deserves it!
