[Viva] Fwd: Request for your organization to join research team as a Collaborator

Hi ViVA women,
Please take a look at this invitation to us. I think it would be great if
one of our members from the Black African, Caribbean and Canadian community
would like to get involved in this research. It would be good to have a
positive woman from BC in the development stage (actually all stages).
I have written back to Nicole and asked her if there is any funding to
support getting positive women's involvement in this project.

Meanwhile, please let me know if you are interested. I know some of the
names on this document and it looks like a reputable endeavor.

Dear Margarite Sanchez,

On behalf of Wangari Tharao and the research team, I am getting in touch
with you to formally invite your organization to participate in the
development of the study, “Development of an HIV stigma-reducing
intervention for HIV-positive Diasporic, Black African, Caribbean and
Canadian (DBACC) women in Canada”.

This email is a formal invitation for your organization to be a Collaborator
for the October 2011 submission to CIHR for this study.  Attached you will
find a formal letter of invitation, a list of the research team members who
have agreed to participate, and a project summary.  As a Collaborator, we
would ask you to provide a letter of support for the project, on your
organization's letterhead, to be included in our submission to CIHR in
October.

If you could let me know by Friday, Aug 5 if your organization would join us
as a Collaborator, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks very much in advance, and I hope you and your organization will
consider lending your support to this project.
