[Viva] Discussion groups for women- Vancouver Coastal Health

hi viva gals,

I am working with Vancouver Coastal Health on the S.T.O.P (Seek and Treat to
Optimize Prevention) HIV  Pilot Project.  We have organized two discussion
groups for women with HIV (one just for Aboriginal women).  We want to find
out your experiences with HIV testing, diagnosis and treatment.  This will
inform the project and hopefully find ways to transform and improve our
current system of care.  We need your input!

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is holding two focus groups at PWN for women
living with HIV.

The purpose is to discuss issues relating to your experiences of HIV
testing, diagnosis and treatment. 

The focus groups are being held on: Monday, July 5th and Wednesday, July 7th
from 12:30 - 2:30, lunch at noon. See attached posters for more information.


The group on Wednesday is specifically for HIV+ Aboriginal women; the group
on Monday is open to ALL HIV+ women. You may attend only ONE focus group.

Please contact Bronwyn at PWN (604-692-3008 or bronwynb at pwn.bc.ca) if you
would like to attend.  PWN will offer bus tickets and an honorarium for any
woman attending the full 2 hour discussion. The groups are at PWN in room
#103.
