Paddle & Picnic

Monday June 21st 2010    



Where: Deer Lake

When: Monday June 21st 11:00am-3:00pm (Summer Solstice)

Who: HIV+ Women

What: Paddle & Picnic

Cost: Pay what you can. Suggested Donation $7

 

The Support Department of BCPWA is planning to hold a Women's event June
21st 2010 to celebrate our HIV+ Women members.

 

The outing will take place at Deer Lake. The day will consist of a 90 minute
paddle (canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, and rowboats on a small lake) in
Burnaby along with a light lunch (please bring your own bag lunch)

Deer Lake is home to some of the region's extraordinary wildlife. Blue
herons, beavers, turtles, Canadian geese, ducks, rainbow trout, and
sometimes eagles can be seen around the lake. 

 

Reservations are required. We will arrange for car-pooling. (RSVP
richardh at bcpwa.org before June 14th - space is limited to16. Please indicate
whether you need a ride or have a car and can take some passengers)

What to bring: Bring a bag lunch for the picnic. Treats to share encouraged.
