Please see below - this is a request for you to sign on to the Vienna
Declaration that will be launched at the International AIDS Society meetingin
Vienna.  It is all about the deleterious impact of policies about illicit
drugs, nationally and internationally, that cause more harm than good: HIV,
hepatitis C, drug overdoses, violence, etc.  This has been developed and is
being led by my former colleagues at the British Columbia Centre for
Excellence in HIV/AIDS (Canada), specifically Dr. Julio Montaner, current
President of the IAS.    I strongly encourage you all to sign this important
declaration.  Please also forward to any list-serves you have access to!
