Greetings Everyone!  The Vancouver Participatory Economics Collective is
pleased to bring you news of upcoming events and opportunities to check us
out, get information or get involved!

ANARCHIST BOOK FAIR
This Saturday, June 20th the Vancouver Parecon Collective will be at the
Vancouver Anarchist Book Fair.  This is a great opportunity to check out
the variety of information tables, talk to anarchist community
organizations, participate in a workshop, and of course there will be lots
of great books.  For more information check out their website:

When: Friday & Saturday June 19th & 20th (we will only have a table there
on the 20th)
Where: The Russian Hall, 600 Campbell Av

PARECON SOCIAL
There will be a Participatory Economics social on July 8th.  The purpose
is to give folks the opportunity to meet other like minded individuals,
talk about ongoing projects, ask questions, look at some different
materials, and have a discussion.
Where: Rhizome Cafe, 317 East Broadway, Vancouver
When: Wednesday July 8th
Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm

MEETINGS
****Our regularly scheduled meeting for Tuesday June 16th has been
CANCELLED.****
Our July meeting schedule is also being changed due to the shifting nature
of our collective member's schedules.  More information to follow very
shortly! The plan however, is to have a regularly scheduled meeting once a
month combined with a discussion of a specific topic through the
participatory economics lens. Have any ideas to start us off?
