do you have any specifics at hand? Is this part of the Police Act, or is it
some sort of standing order? Does it apply to both RCMP and Vancouver
Police, or just one?
i've asked for badge numbers many times when they aren't visible (which is
at just about every demonstration that doesn't include several hundred union
members), and i've gotten varying responses, such as "no, we don't have to
wear any badges", or "Ya, this is my badge! (pointing to the coat-of-arms
emblem on the shoulder)"
It'd be kinda nice to know where to look to find this regulation, just so
that i could quote them the sub-section if i felt like it (to show that i
won't be baffled if they try and lie to me about anything else).
