 ORDER IN COUNCIL 573 - From July 4th
Ministry Responsible: SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Statutory Authority: Environment and Land Use
B.C. Reg. 308/91 - the Golf Course Development Moratorium Regulation is
repealed.

Does this mean we are going back to the cowboy era of the late 80s with
new golf courses covering all the arabable lands????
Or is there a new regulation in place that stops the conversion of ALR
land to golf course???

This repeals the first act of the NDP government. - in 1991.   The
regulation was put into place in 1991 to ensure that the loophole that
allowed golf courses as a use of farm land to be closed.
