[van-discuss] RESIST.CA LIST CHANGES

There have been a few changes in the names of lists to which you are
subscribed. The old van-near and van-far news lists have been merged into
one new list called news at resist.ca. As well, the vancouver announcement
list has been moved from vancouver to van-announce at resist.ca and the
vancouver discussion list has been moved from vancouver-d to
van-discuss at resist.ca.

The old names were a source of confusion for many people for a long time
and we hope that these changes will help solve this problem.

To summarize the use of the new lists:

van-announce at resist.ca will carry postings about upcoming events in the
vancouver and surrounding areas.

van-discuss at resist.ca will carry general discussion of interest to local
activists as well as posts which don't seem to fit either the news or
announcements mould.

news at resist.ca will carry any news stories relevant to vancouver and area
activists.

Please update your email filters accordingly.

resist at resist.ca is not a list. It is the resist.ca server's
administrative email account. Do not mail your announcements or news
stories to that email address. They will be ignored.
